Chaos Coconut — Hair/Body Oil

Coconut oil has long been a mainstay in many people's kitchens and beauty routines. For the latter, it nourishes and moisturizes skin. It's also helpful in hair care because of its high concentration of lauric acid. Our Chaos Coconut Hair/Body Oil is crafted with virgin coconut oil sourced from a small plantation in Perak. The soft green hue is the result of a double-boiled infusion with organic chlorella powder.

Coconut Oil

"Coconut oil contains special fatty acids like lauric and capric acid that help fight fungus, bacteria, and viruses by breaking down their cell walls. These antimicrobial and antifungal properties make it different from other carrier oils.

It also deeply hydrates and nourishes the scalp, helping to reduce dryness and flaking. Because coconut oil holds on to moisture so well, it doesn’t evaporate or break down easily once applied to the skin, scalp, or hair shaft." 

Chlorella

"Chlorella (Chlorella pyrenoidosa) is a type of algae that grows in fresh water. It is rich in chlorophyll, carotenoids, essential fatty acids, proteins, vitamins, and minerals. These compounds provide antioxidant, soothing, hydrating, and anti-inflammatory benefits.

Chlorella may also be useful in defending skin from environmental stressors. It has been shown to have a positive effect on returning compromised skin to a healthier state."

To enhance the delightfully tropical aroma of coconut oil, a small quantity of essential oils was added to this batch of Chaos Coconut. To the mix, we've added a broad-spectrum preservative blend (Kem Nat) for natural & organic cosmetics. "Kem Nat is gentle to the skin and effective against bacteria, moulds and yeasts".

• Safety Information: This product contains essential oil(s). Do not ingest. avoid the eyes. The use of essential oils (by any route) should be avoided during pregnancy, breastfeeding, if you are epileptic, have liver damage, cancer, or any other medical issue. Keep away from children and pets. Not recommended for someone with existing allergies, especially to seafood, seaweed, or other sea vegetables. Those with low-porosity hair might want to avoid this.
  
• Your Ritual: Shake well to recombine. Warm a few drops between your palms before applying. Gently massage on scalp as a pre-shampoo mask/treatment. Smooth through damp or dry hair shaft/ends to soften and add shine. Massage into skin after a shower/bath for lasting hydration. . Avoiding excessively rubbing your skin and instead gently pat or press Chaos Coconut onto the surface of the skin.
